BUKITTINGGI : THE BEAUTY OF WEST SUMATERA

Bukittinggi is located in West Sumatera, Indonesia. Bukittinggi is surrounded by  three mountain those are merapi mount, singgalang mount, and sago mount. And the climate is cool, Bukittinggi have three  market, there are Aua Kuniang the central market  for clothes groceries, Pasar Bawah and Pasar Atas. Bukittinggi have some tourist destination such as Jam Gadang, Ngarai Sianok, Lubang Japang, Kinantan Zoo, Fort de Kock and many others. And I almost forget to tell you that Bukittinggi has one big library named Bung Hatta library.

Well, I would like to tell you about Jam Gadang first, Jam Gadang was built by Deutch in 1827,  Jam Gadang really famous not only on West Sumatera but also in Indonesia because number four on that clock was written like this “IIII”  not like this “IV”. Near  Jam Gadang you can buy souvenirs or handicraft at Pasar Atas. From the top of  Jam Gadang we can see the view of Bukittinggi.

Next , Ngarai Sianok  is a canyon that made by nature activity, not really far from Jam Gadang you can go there with public car of  walk by your self,  we can see it from Panorama, in there you can see a wonderful view and you can feel  an interesting experience that is being interupted by monkey if you don’t share you  meal with them, because at Ngarai Sianok there are so many wild monkey.
The last but not the lease, Lubang Japang. Lubang Japang was built by Japanese as a place for shelter, prison, ammunition store. In this place you can feel the  horror atmosphere, to travel this tunel you need to hire a guide, coz this tunel can make you confused to find the exit door, this tunel  a little bit same with maze. Lubang Japang have a lot of  brance. You can go to Lubang Japang via Panorama. And it’s not complete if  you not try a special food from Bukittinggi that is sanjai.
Welcome to Bukittinggi and enjoy your holiday…
